ALPIX PRIVACY POLICY
1. INTRODUCTION
ALPIX (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Company”) is a non-custodial decentralized perpetual futures exchange built on Orderly Network. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you access and use the ALPIX Platform.
Key principle: ALPIX prioritizes user privacy. We do not collect personal data like names, email addresses, or residential addresses. We operate as a permissionless protocol that minimizes data collection.
2. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 On-Chain Data (Publicly Available)
When you connect your wallet to ALPIX, we collect and log:
- Your publicly-available wallet address
- Your transaction history on ALPIX (trades executed, positions opened/closed, deposits/withdrawals)
- Your trading activity (order book interactions, execution records)
- Your balance and positions (visible on-chain when you interact with smart contracts)
- Your leverage and collateral information (recorded in smart contracts)
Why? This data is publicly visible on the blockchain. We use it to:
- Enable the Platform to function (you must sign transactions with your wallet)
- Screen your wallet for illicit activity (sanctions lists, AML compliance)
- Improve trading experience and Platform features
- Generate your transaction history and P&L statements
2.2 Off-Chain Data (Limited)
When you interact with the ALPIX website/app, we may collect:
- Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Cookies and local storage (for session management, preferences)
- Usage data (which pages you visit, features you use, time spent)
- Referral source (how you found ALPIX)
We do NOT collect:
- ❌ Your name, email, or other personal identifiers
- ❌ IP address
- ❌ Physical location or residential address
- ❌ Phone number or date of birth
- ❌ Identity documents
2.3 AI Trader Leaderboard Data
If you use ALPIX AI Traders:
- Your AI Trader deployment is recorded (which AI agent, allocation size, start date)
- Your performance metrics are published on the leaderboard (win rate, profit/loss, trade count)
- This data is anonymized — linked to your wallet address only, not your identity
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
3.1 Platform Operation
- Process your trades and transactions on the blockchain
- Maintain your account balance and position data
- Provide trading history and performance statements
- Enable withdrawals and deposits
3.2 Security & Compliance
- Screen wallets for illicit activity — check against sanctions lists (OFAC, etc.) and AML/CFT databases
- Detect fraud and prevent abuse (wash trading, market manipulation, bot activity)
- Monitor for suspicious transaction patterns
- Prevent repeated account creation to circumvent restrictions
3.3 Analytics & Improvement
- Analyze user behavior to improve the Platform
- Track feature usage and popular trading pairs
- Identify bugs and performance issues
- Test new features through A/B testing
3.4 Legal & Regulatory
- Comply with court orders or legal requests
- Respond to government inquiries or regulatory demands
- Enforce our Terms of Service
- Resolve disputes
4. WALLET SCREENING & COMPLIANCE
ALPIX uses blockchain analytics providers to screen wallets for:
- Sanctions list matches (OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list, etc.)
- Terrorist financing indicators
- Known theft proceeds or hacking-related addresses
- Mixer and privacy coin usage (where required by regulation)
If your wallet is flagged:
- Your account access may be restricted or suspended
- You will be notified if possible
- You have the right to appeal or provide context
5. DATA SHARING
5.1 We Share Data With
Service Providers:
- Orderly Network (our infrastructure provider) — receives your wallet address and transaction data
- Blockchain analytics providers — for illicit activity screening
- Cloud infrastructure providers — for Platform hosting and storage
- (Any other service provider used by ALPIX — specifics TBD by team)
Public Blockchain:
- Your transactions are recorded permanently on the blockchain
- All wallet movements, trade executions, and smart contract interactions are public and immutable
- Anyone can view your transaction history using blockchain explorers
Legal/Regulatory:
- Law enforcement (upon legal request, warrant, or court order)
- Financial intelligence units (if legally obligated)
- Government agencies (for tax reporting, if required)
- Compliance partners (for sanctions screening)
5.2 We Do NOT Share Data With

- ❌ Wallet providers (unless you use their wallet)

- We can stop collecting new data associated with your wallet
- Historical blockchain transactions cannot be deleted (they're immutable)
- Off-chain data (cookies, device logs) can be requested for deletion

7.3 Right to Opt-Out
- Opt out of analytics tracking (affects Platform improvement features)
- Disable cookies (may affect Platform functionality)
- Stop using ALPIX (your off-chain data will be deleted after 90 days)
7.4 Right to Object

8. SECURITY
We implement standard security practices to protect Platform infrastructure:
- Encryption for data in transit and at rest
- Authentication and access controls
- Regular security monitoring
- Incident response procedures
However:
- Non-custodial = Your responsibility — ALPIX does not hold your funds. You control your private keys and wallet security.
- We cannot protect your private keys or recover lost funds.
- The smart contracts are audited, but no code is 100% secure.
9. COOKIES & TRACKING
We use cookies for:
- Essential cookies — session management, authentication (cannot be disabled)
- Analytics cookies — tracking Platform usage (can be disabled)
- Preference cookies — saving your settings

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
ALPIX serves users globally. Your data may be:

By using ALPIX, you consent to such transfers.
11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
ALPIX integrates with third-party services:

- Wallet providers — if you connect MetaMask, Ledger, etc.
We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before using their services.
12. CHILDREN
ALPIX is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn you are under 18, we will disable your account.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:
